Case Study - Goodwood

Goodwood - Farmer, Butcher, Chef

Located in the heart of West Sussex, the 12,000-acre Goodwood Estate has been home to the Dukes of Richmond & Lennox for more than 300 years.

Best known for its motor circuit and the world-famous Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival, the estate hosts Glorious Goodwood and horseracing fixtures throughout the year. It also offers a range of sporting experiences from driving, flying and shooting to golf, cycling and cricket.

Guests in need of some pampering may book a stay in the stylish Goodwood Hotel, shape-up with an exercise class in the Health Club, swim in the indoor heated pool and unwind in The Waterbeach Spa, which provides facials, massages and signature treatments.

A visit to Goodwood is a gastronomic experience, with a choice of eateries on offer. The award-winning Farmer, Butcher, Chef (pictured) showcases sustainable dining, with seasonal menus featuring home-grown organic meat and produce. With views out to the golf course, the Goodwood Bar & Grill bistro is the perfect place to relax after a visit to the Health Club. Estate Members and their guests may also dine at The Kennels Clubhouse, which has its own restaurant and bar.

“Our seasonal produce is sourced and foraged from the estate wherever possible, and we keep our dishes robust, unpretentious and always delicious” says Daniel Turner, Head Chef.
