The Churchill Hotel

The Churchill Hotel is a Grade II Listed Georgian mansion in the heart of York. Dating from 1827, with a rich history, it is now a stylish, contemporary 32 bedroom luxury hotel with fine dining. Located on 65 Bootham, a stone’s throw from city centre, it’s an ideal base for exploring York.

Alongside the atmospheric Wellington Bar, guests can enjoy classic British and Yorkshire dishes with a modern twist in Dewsnaps Brasserie, one of the region’s finest restaurants. Visitors praise the relaxed ambience, the service from friendly, efficient staff and the quality of the food, summed up by one reviewer as ‘excellent’ with ‘generous portions and surprisingly reasonable prices’.
